Christian Rivers is a professional musician and teacher with over 15 years of experience in the industry. He specializes in songwriting, performance, and teaching, bringing a passionate, educated, and highly creative approach to his work. Christian has been serving as Sophie Lloyd's guitarist and musical director since her debut as a solo artist. Sophie has rapidly become a significant figure in the rock guitar world, successfully selling out her first solo show at Camden Underworld in October 2024, and performing for 25,000 fans at Download Festival just eight months later. Notably, she opened the Women's Rugby World Cup Final, shredding her version of a Bon Jovi classic to 82,000 seated fans, with over 10 million viewers tuning in from home. Christian is incredibly proud to be a part of Sophie's achievements and looks forward to her future endeavours.

Overseas Work
Christian has extensive experience as a Lead Guitarist, performing for many years in various function bands in Dubai and on ferries across Europe. He consistently performed three hours a night, six nights a week, in luxury venues worldwide.
With a current repertoire of over 1000 songs and the ability to learn and perform up to 50 new songs per week, ranging from Elton John to Rage Against the Machine, Christian is equipped to handle any musical challenge.

Christian Rivers has a diverse background in music, including experience in two successful original bands and a portfolio of his own written and recorded songs. Currently, Christian is the lead guitarist and a backing vocalist for several function bands. As a professional session guitarist, he has a strong track record of recording guitar tracks for various projects, from albums and promotional videos to nursery rhymes.
Crazy Diamond - Pink Floyd Tribute Band
Christian was the Lead Guitarist in a Pink Floyd tribute act called Crazy Diamond, which toured extensively throughout the UK. He dedicated countless hours to studying David Gilmour's style and sound, and he is able to replicate it with impressive accuracy.
